Domestic orders ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on weight, destination, and the speed you select at checkout. International orders ship via DHL Express or USPS Priority Mail International. We do not use untrackable carriers.
Orders placed before 2pm Eastern on a business day are packed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2pm ship the next business day. Trade Program orders ship within 1 to 3 business days depending on volume and stock.
We do not ship on weekends, US federal holidays, or on the lunar and solar eclipse days listed in our contact page.
Transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, carrier backlog, and rural delivery routes can extend these.
Shipping is calculated by carrier rate based on weight, dimensions, and destination. There is no markup on shipping. We pass the carrier's rate through at cost. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Free shipping promotions, when offered, apply to domestic orders over $75 shipped via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. Expedited shipping is never free.
We ship to most countries. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout by carrier rate. Duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer. Your country may require you to pay these to clear the package through customs.
We do not ship to countries where incense, herbs, or essential oils are restricted or prohibited. We do not falsify customs declarations. The actual contents and value are declared.
Every order receives a tracking number. The tracking number is emailed to you when the package ships. Click the link in the email or paste the number into the carrier's website.
If your package is lost in transit, contact us. We file the carrier claim and either reship or refund you. If your package arrives damaged, take a photo within 48 hours and email it to atelier@thespiritualsurplus.com. We replace damaged items at our cost.
We do not ship flammable liquids by air. Essential oils over 4 ounces per bottle must travel by ground. We do not ship restricted herbs internationally without proper permits. If your order includes items that cannot ship to your destination, we will contact you before processing.
Trade Program accounts ship under the customer's brand. The shipping label shows your business name and return address. The packing slip shows your branding. The outer packaging is plain. We are invisible by design.
